Lodore Canyon

Lodore Canyon of the Green River, often referred to as “The Gates of Lodore” trip is the shorter of the two possible rafting trips through Dinosaur National Monument. It’s neighbor, the Yampa outshines it in trip length and scenic diversity. But the Lodore is gorgeous in its own right, and the two trips share the final 25 miles of the Green River through Whirlpool Canyon, Island Park, and Split Mountain after the Yampa joins the Green at Echo Park.
